Why do I need a wedding video?
If you ask almost any couple what they remember about their special day, they will probably tell you that it all went by so fast that most of it was just one big blur.
There are some things that you may miss on the big day such as the arrival of the groom or the Canapés, or perhaps you may even be wondering what your own entrance was like from everyone else’s perspective.
A wedding video will capture all of the amazing moments from your wedding day and make them last a lifetime, for you to treasure forever.
A professionally produced wedding film is the ultimate way of encapsulating the very essence of your very special day - a kaleidoscope of memories and sounds that you can share with family and friends, children and grandchildren for years to come.
Won’t having my wedding filmed be intrusive?
With fully trained, courteous operators, dressed for the occasion we blend into the background on your wedding day. Our subtlety is something of which we are very proud and is frequently attested by our clients.
What about music?
We use sound from your wedding as the main audio bed (dialogue either from your vows, speeches, or a specific recording) and lay a bed of fully licensed library music underneath which allows your video to be enjoyed on all social media.
Can I download my wedding video?
Yes - you can download all your wedding videos so that you can keep 'hard' copies on your personal computers.
How long after our wedding day do we receive our videos and how?
We upload your wedding videos to www.vimeo.com into an album which is password protected (apart from your Highlights/Trailer, so that they can be shared on social media). The contract states videos are delivered within 60 days but nine times out of ten it’s within a month.
Do I have to provide the camera operator(s) with food at my wedding?
We don’t put providing our camera operator(s) with a meal in the Terms & conditions as we understand this is not always possible. However, if it is possible to provide a meal, it would be much appreciated and means that we can always be close by in case there is something to film.

What is your back up plan if you were unable to make it on the day?
Firstly it is worth mentioning that this has never happened in the last 17 years! Nevertheless, we always have a contingency plan in place regardless. Harris Weddings has a team of 4 videographers who we would contact in case of illness. Basically we would do everything that we could to fill the space, this is also stated in the wedding contract.

Why would I want a second cameras and operator at my wedding?
Multiple cameras not only provide a more detailed account of your special day but also allow Harris Weddings to capture some of those moments that you might otherwise miss. Two cameras enable us to capture both the bride’s and the grooms preparations. The final result from a multi-camera shoot is more comprehensive and generally more enjoyable to watch.
